Kenilworth on-line Organic Potato Sale
Pre orders are now closed

Due to exceptional demand we have had to move the cut-off date for new orders to 7pm on Wednesday 3 February. We apologise for any disappointment caused.

People at Potato Day
Our previous Potato Days have been a popular event for growers.

Rather than cancel our popular Kenilworth Potato Day in February HEOG is hosting it's unique curtain-raiser to the gardening season on-line. Orders can be collected from 2pm on 6 February and a choice of collection points are offered. Please note your collection time will be by pre-arranged appointment, so please make sure we have a means to contact you to arrange this. Local delivery may be available for an additional cost.

Why grow organic tubers?
Organically grown potato tubers are bred for garden-scale and low-input growing methods which are more suited to back garden and organic cultivation than the mainstream commercial versions. If you are new to the idea of growing your own, they can be grown in small vegetable plots and even in tubs and growbags on a patio - an ideal way to introduce children to the origins of their food.

Carolus Early Main

Carolus Early Main

Carolus is an attractive early main crop with a pretty red flash over a pale yellow skin. Tubers are uniformly oval in shape. It has very high dry matter so is perfect for baking, mashing and roast potatoes. Can be steamed but do not boil for more than 15 minutes as it may break up. But it must be said it is the perfect choice for home cooked chunky chips, potato skins or bubble and squeak.

* STOCK Very LOW * – may be substituted with another Early Maincrop or Bambino which can be cropped later too [why is this?]. If you have a preference please tell us in the message box in the shopping cart.

Why are stock levels uncertain? This is because the seed potatoes are sold by weight, and the tubers vary in size according to the variety, so we do not know how many tubers of each variety we will have until the orders are picked.
