Our
Vision
Our school strives to develop a learning environment
in which all our children are enabled and encouraged to learn to
the best of their ability.
Our Mission Statement
Our school, mindful of the values of its foundation,
endeavours to cultivate respect for the spiritual and moral beliefs
of the Christian tradition and to create a learning community in
which our children, cared for as individuals, are helped to find
fulfilment as they grow to adulthood.
Our School Aims
Our school aims to provide the best possible
education and opportunities for all its pupils by:
- Fostering the development of the whole person within
a disciplined, ordered, working environment and a setting which
is secure and caring;
- Creating a positive, happy atmosphere in which
our children are able to take a pride in their achievements and
in which pupils and staff work together with mutual respect, courtesy
and consideration for others;
- Following a curriculum which engenders a love of
learning and the excitement of discovery and which develops the
academic potential of all our children, while being broad enough
to meet and respond to their differing needs;
- Encouraging a respect for religious beliefs and
moral values, a tolerance of other people and their needs;
- Seeking to develop and maintain a close relationship
between pupils, parents, staff and Governors, and purposeful relationships
with neighbouring schools and other educational agencies.
Our school policies are built on the need to
ensure equal opportunities for all and to eliminate discrimination
of all kinds. Our school encourages an inclusive philosophy.
