It
is impossible to visit Temple Balsall and not realise that it is a
very special place. Special, of course, to different people in different
ways.
A reading of its past will simply act to
confirm its unique contribution to local history and innovation -
from the Templars to present times.
Part of the appeal of Temple Balsall is its isolation: a quiet corner
of Warwickshire largely untouched by the tempo of the 21st century.
This comes at a cost, however, as the small local community is quite
unable to support the gem that earlier generations have bequeathed
to us.
It is here that The Friends of Temple Balsall can perhaps make its
greatest contribution. As an independent charity The Friends have
been able to provide financial support to projects as modest as an
outing for the residents, or music for the Easter and Christmas services,
to meeting more substantial needs such as a new heating system in
the Old Hall.
If you would like to know more about the Friends and how you might
share in the work, and in the benefits of being a Friend, please fill

All our outings are based around a conducted private tour which often
gives us access to parts not seen by the visiting public.
