The Friends of Temple Balsall:

Making a difference

It is impossible to visit Temple Balsall and not realise that it is a very special place. Special, of course, to different people in different ways.

A reading of its past will simply act to confirm its unique contribution to local history and innovation - from the Templars to present times.

Part of the appeal of Temple Balsall is its isolation: a quiet corner of Warwickshire largely untouched by the tempo of the 21st century.
This comes at a cost, however, as the small local community is quite unable to support the gem that earlier generations have bequeathed to us.

It is here that The Friends of Temple Balsall can perhaps make its greatest contribution. As an independent charity The Friends have been able to provide financial support to projects as modest as an outing for the residents, or music for the Easter and Christmas services, to meeting more substantial needs such as a new heating system in the Old Hall.

All our outings are based around a conducted private tour which often gives us access to parts not seen by the visiting public.
