St Mary's Parochial Church Council
It is the function of the Parochial Church Council to co-operate
with the Vicar in promoting in the parish, the whole development and
mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.
To the council are entrusted the finances of the parish and the care,
maintenance and insurance of the church and the churchyard.
In practice, here, in St Mary's, the whole running of the parish
is a co-operative exercise between the incumbent and the council.
