Following a competition in early 2007 and working collaboratively with Bernard Planterose of North Woods Construction, Locate were succcessful in winning Plot 10 of the masterplan of the Highland Housing Fair. Since then Planning permission has been attained and the process of Building warrant is underway.
 
The three two storey terraced houses face South onto the Village Green which they front with dramatic glazed facades, balconies and an overhanging flat roof. Steel mesh screens are used at the gables with climbing plants and the houses are clad in horizontal painted timber. Living areas are at first floor and the homes are accessed via a sheltered porch at Ground Floor level.

Working with Eurban Solid Timber Specialists in London, we are using innovative massive timber panels for the construction, high levels of natural insulation and specifying only natural and non-toxic materials and finishes throughout.
