We all need to deepen and enlarge our understanding about care and care giving. This book, using Jewish tradition and self-relations as take-off points, experts from many fields provide a range of perspectives and strategies for care giving.
Thirty six categories are presented (for example: language; time-management; prayer, traumatic loss; grief; divorce; silence) and these topics are explored to illustrate how we might enlarge the theory and practice of care. There is intellectual depth and imaginative compassion here.
